USA Lightning’s Prize Genie Ranks #1 Overall for Two Consecutive Months at California Pizza Arcade

USA Lightning LLC, a U.S. manufacturer of commercial amusement machines, announced operator-reported results showing its Prize Genie commercial crane machine ranked as the No. 1 game overall for two consecutive months at Cameron Park Pizza Factory in California.

The results were provided by Earl Wright, who operates amusement equipment at Cameron Park Pizza Factory and Gold Country Lanes.

Cameron Park Pizza Factory operates 16 active games, including five crane machines. According to play-count data provided by Earl, Prize Genie ranked No. 1 among all games at the location in both July and August 2026.

In July, Prize Genie recorded nearly 200 more plays than Tons of Tickets. In August, the difference increased to 470 plays, with Prize Genie again finishing No. 1 overall at the location.

“Our Prize Genies are doing very well,” Earl said. “The Prize Genie ranked #1 overall for both July and August. Our players love it! We’re making plans to add more to our other locations.”

Earl also operates a Prize Genie at Gold Country Lanes, a substantially larger amusement location with approximately 60 active games, including 14 cranes.

At Gold Country Lanes, Prize Genie ranked No. 11 among all games and No. 7 among cranes in July. In August, it ranked No. 14 overall and No. 8 among cranes. Earl noted that the machine is not currently located near the venue’s other cranes and that he is considering moving it to test the effect of placement.

For USA Lightning, the results provide operating data from two different amusement environments and offer insight into how the same commercial crane machine can perform in locations of different sizes and game mixes.

“Operators don’t need another manufacturer telling them that its game is great. They want to know what happens after the machine goes on location,” said Aaron Pelto, Partner at USA Lightning. “That’s why Earl allowing us to share his actual results means so much to us. At Cameron Park, Prize Genie didn’t just have one good month. It finished No. 1 in the entire location two months in a row.”

Prize Genie is a commercial crane machine manufactured by USA Lightning for bowling centers, family entertainment centers, arcades and other amusement locations. The machine uses a 23-inch hologram display to showcase the prizes players can win, creating a different merchandising approach from a traditional crane machine. Prize Genie dispenses Magic Balls containing premium prizes and is designed to draw attention to both the game and the prizes available to players.

The hologram crane combines traditional crane gameplay with digital prize presentation, allowing operators to visually merchandise prizes rather than relying solely on what players can see inside the crane.

Prize Genie can also incorporate USA Lightning’s Web Vend Technology, which adds digital prize-redemption and customer-engagement capabilities to the machine.

Earl said the performance has him considering additional Prize Genie machines for other locations.

“It’s a game we will probably do more with at a couple more locations when we go into our next round of buying,” he said.
